Joining the band is a great way to
make new friends, get involved with UCLA spirit, and keep playing your
instrument. See the audition requirements below.

Requirements
Brass and Woodwinds
- Short prepared piece or etude
- The following major scales: Bb, Eb, C, F
- Sightreading
Percussion
- Short prepared piece or
etude
- Several American and/or Swiss rudiments
- Sightreading

- Prepare a two minute routine to music of your choice on a
cassette tape.
Taped
Auditions
For brass, woodwind and percussion, record the same as above without
sightreading on a cassette, CD or VHS videotape. For Flag, you may record
your audition on VHS videotape. Send your cassette, CD or videotape to the
address below.
