Solid Gold Sound Club
Since 1997, the Solid Gold Sound Club
has grown to well over 400 members and through its Football Travel Fund
has helped send UCLA Band members to football games in Texas in 1997,
Miami in 1998, Ohio State in 1999, Washington in 2000 and Alabama in 2001.
Now we would like to ask YOU to join the Club.
We are currently offering three pledge
levels, each with its own special thank you gift.
Over the next few years, we are hoping to send pep bands to the following away games: Washington in 2002, Colorado in 2003, and Illinois in 2004. Looking farther into the future, we hope that we can generate enough support to send a large pep band (if not the full band) to the UCLA vs. Notre Dame game in South Bend, Indiana on October 26, 2006. When you watch these games on TV and hear "Sons of Westwood" and "The Mighty Bruins," you will know that you helped support UCLA in a unique way and gave UCLA Band members the opportunity to represent UCLA across the country.
