Reserving Space in the Student Union

Many elements go ino planning and executing a successful program. Here are some resources and guidelines to help you:

  1. Meet with your CSP adviser - Meet with your Center for Student Programming adviser to review all details of your event, and be sure to keep him/her aware of any changes.

  2. Make a Reservation - Research to select the event venue or meeting room that best suits the size and venue requirements of your event. Once you have selected a venue, contant an event planner.

    • Obtain a copy of the student Union Event Planning Checklist.

  7. Preliminary Diagram - Plan a preliminary diagram with your event planner. We have standard diagrams for each of our event venues to work from.

  9. Apply - Complete a UCLA Events On-Line Application.

  10. After your event, evaluate! - Complete ASUCLA's Student Event Evaluation and let us know how we can improve your event execution.
