UCLA Dashew Center

Promoting global connection, international understanding and cultural sensitivity

The UCLA Dashew Center for International Students and Scholars does not just provide support and resources for the 12,000 international students and scholars at UCLA — it serves the entire UCLA community by promoting global connection, international understanding and cultural sensitivity. Visit the UCLA Dashew Center in-person at 106 Bradley International Hall, 417 Charles E. Young Drive West or online at the Dashew Center website, available through the button below.

Visa counseling

A top service, the UCLA Dashew Center provides free Visa counseling for international students. The Dashew Center’s Visa counseling ensures that international students can focus on school rather than worry about whether they’ve filled out their Visa paperwork correctly. Visit the Dashew Center’s contact page to schedule an appointment with a Visa counselor.

Programs and events

The UCLA Dashew Center’s events page lists workshops, trips and other programs that help international students adjust to life at UCLA and foster connections with one another. In order to register for most events on the UCLA Dashew's events page, you will need to first create a Dashew account if you do not have one.

The Dashew Center also partners with the Associated Students UCLA (ASUCLA) Student Union throughout the academic year to put on events for the wider UCLA community. These Dashew Center events include watch parties for the NFL Super Bowl and FIFA World Cup Games

Resources

Adjusting to life in a new country may be a big learning curve, but the Dashew Center provides online resources to support international students. From academic to employment resources, tips for finding housing, to lists of nearby grocery stores, the Dashew Center resource page covers many aspects of life at UCLA.
