Resources and workshops

The Dashew Center offers a variety of resources for both full-time international students and international students participating in exchange programs, including information about visas and legal services. Guide topics include academic and financial resources, employment options and information about campus services, such as MyUCLA, BruinBill (UCLA’s payment platform accessed through MyUCLA) and more. Events

The Dashew Center UCLA holds activities for international and non-international students to come together and find community. Previous events include two International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) World Cup watch parties, complete with giveaways, raffles and free breakfast, as well as Super Bowl and Final Four basketball watch parties. Another beloved Dashew Center event is the World Café, an annual collaboration with ASUCLA Catering, which allows students to sample free coffee and tea from around the world. The Dashew Center has also highlighted international cuisine and art at the Festival of Cultures, which was hosted in November 2024.
