UCLA dining hours

Know your UCLA meal times

UCLA dining hours vary based on the dining hall location and the day. To plan your visit to the UCLA dining halls, visit the UCLA dining hours website through the link below.

Here are some general tips for those planning to dine on the UCLA campus:

While the hours for UCLA dining halls vary from location to location, the meal periods tend to follow these hours: breakfast is from 7-10 a.m., lunch is from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. and dinner is from 5-9 p.m. Some dining halls even have extended dinner hours that last until 12 a.m. To check which dining halls are open for which meal periods, visit the UCLA dining hours website through the button above.

There will always be dining halls open during the meal periods. However, keep in mind that some dining halls are only open for certain meal periods and some may be closed for the weekend. Visit the UCLA dining hours website through the button above to plan ahead.

For those who find themselves hungry in-between meal periods, food is available for purchase at the UCLA Store and its Hill Top Shop location, located near the Housing Mail Center. Alternatively, students with a meal plan can exchange swipes for meal coupons, which students can use to buy a meal at an on-campus restaurant.

On-campus restaurants

Associated Students UCLA (ASUCLA) runs 17 dining locations including eight third-party locations across the UCLA campus. For a full list of ASUCLA campus restaurants and dining hours, visit the link below.

On weekdays during the academic year, each on-campus restaurant typically experiences a lunch rush. For those who prefer to skip the line, Starship Technologies robots deliver meals from ASUCLA restaurants to customers on campus right through the company’s app. For more information about Starship Technologies, click the button below.
