UCLA food trucks

A taste of LA in Westwood Village

UCLA food trucks provide quick meal options for UCLA students and visitors alike. Check out the UCLA food trucks below for a taste of LA.

Food trucks on the Residential Hill

UCLA food trucks are available at Sproul Court and Rieber Court. On-campus residents can exchange up to two meal swipes per day for coupons to use at the food trucks. The UCLA food trucks were introduced to the on-campus dining scene to help take the load off of the dining halls and allow students to experience the Los Angeles food truck scene without having to leave the Residential Hill. For more information on how to exchange swipes for food truck meal coupons, click on the button below.

Students can choose from a wide selection of food trucks, which offer everything from tacos, Thai food, burgers, vegan Chick’n and even ice cream trucks. The food trucks rotate every meal period per day, so no two days have the same selection of food truck eateries. To check which food trucks are available on a certain day, visit the link below.

Westwood food trucks for visitors

For off-campus students and visitors looking for a bite to eat in Westwood Village, try these Westwood food trucks:

Tatiana's Catering Truck: Usually parked across from Ralph’s on Le Conte Avenue, this food truck serves authentic Mexican food. Check out their menu on the Tatiana’s Catering Truck website.

Tacos Super Gallito: Drop by the parking lot on Le Conte and Broxton to taste this food truck’s tacos, burritos, tortas and more. Visit the Tacos Super Gallito website to view their menu.

ASUCLA Restaurants

Not on the UCLA meal plan and don’t want to leave the UCLA campus to eat? Associated Students UCLA (ASUCLA) runs several restaurant locations right on the campus.

Ackerman Union: Experience UCLA Dining Hall food with Epicuria at Ackerman, which accepts meal swipes and conventional payment methods, or grab a meal from well-known chains like Panda Express, Carl’s Jr. and Taco Bell. If you’re feeling adventurous, try a smoothie made by a robot – ASUCLA’s Jamba by Blendid machine can make a single order in under three minutes.

LuValle Commons: Looking for a quick meal on the north side of the UCLA campus? Visit LuValle Commons and grab a meal from one of the three eateries: Epazote Mexican Grill, Burger Assembly and Fusion (serving rice bowls and ramen). Located right next to the LuValle Commons eateries, Jimmy’s Coffeehouse is a great place to study with a cup of coffee and a pastry or light lunch.

Court of Sciences Student Center: Make your own personal pizza at Blaze Pizza, or order from Subway, Yoshinoya or Fusion. For a quick pick-me-up, stop by the Southern Lights Café for a cup of Peet’s Coffee.
