Get to know UCLA

UCLA tours are a great way for all to get to know UCLA, from the beautiful campus, to the resources and opportunities available to students. UCLA offers both in-person and virtual tours, all led by current UCLA students. Schedule UCLA tours through the UCLA campus tours website, available through the link below.

In-person UCLA tours (individual/family)

UCLA walking tours for individuals and families last about an hour-and-a-half. Tours on Mondays, Wednesdays (different hours from 10:15 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.) and Fridays also include a 30-minute presentation at the start of the tour.

It is recommended for guests to wear comfortable shoes as the tour includes hills and stairs. To ensure timely arrival to the tour, guests are also encouraged to allow ample time for Los Angeles traffic and parking.

In order to attend a UCLA tour, guests must have a tour reservation; UCLA Campus Tours does not offer a waitlist or standby option, and guests without a reservation will not be accommodated. To book a UCLA walking tour, visit the link below.

Guests also have the option to take a self-guided walking tour of campus using a UCLA tour brochure. A PDF of the brochure is available for download here, and physical copies can be picked up at the Undergraduate Admission office, located in 1147 Murphy Hall.

In-person UCLA tours (groups)

UCLA group tours are one-hour, in-person walkthroughs of campus reserved for high schools, community colleges and community-based organizations working with students 9th grade and above. The group tours provide a comprehensive overview of relevant academic programs, resources and student life tailored to the specific needs of each individual group of students.

Group sizes can range from a minimum of 10 to a maximum of 100 guests. Groups that require an ADA, stroller or wheelchair accommodation will be capped at 25 to 75 guests depending on the requested time and guide capacity. For every 25 students in the group, one adult chaperone is required and the chaperones must stay with the group for the duration of the tour.
