ASUCLA Unveils Mobile Ordering App for North Campus Restaurants

Transact Mobile Ordering App Aimed at Saving Students Time when Dining at UCLA

Westwood, Calif. – Nov. 06, 2019 – Getting meals on campus just got that much easier as ASUCLA unveils a new mobile ordering app for the restaurants in the North Campus Student Center.

The new app is the latest enhancement to the on-campus dining experience for UCLA students, staff and faculty, and is the first-ever mobile ordering platform for ASUCLA restaurants.

“Providing our students, staff, and faculty with easier ways to dine on campus is our goal, and this app helps us achieve that,” said Cindy Bolton, ASUCLA Food Service Director. “It gives those in the Bruin community a faster, more efficient way to grab lunch on the go, saving them time and helping to create a more stress-free dining experience.”

Users can download the app for iOS devices from the AppStore as well as for Android devices from the Google Play Store by searching “Transact Mobile Ordering.”  Once installed, select “UCLA Restaurants.” From there, students, staff and faculty can place an order for pick up. Meals ordered through the app will be available for pick up at a counter near the main entrance of the North Campus Student Center.
