Betzabel (Betzy) Estudillo (she/her) – Chair
Betzabel Estudillo is Chief Engagement Officer at Nourish California, where she drives initiatives that promote food equity and advance policy solutions for vulnerable communities. A UCLA alumna, she combines her passion for social justice with her expertise in nonprofit leadership and advocacy.
Malina Masur (she/her) – Vice Chair
Malina Masur is a fundraising leader in Chicago who has raised millions of dollars for organizations that support youth housing, first generation students and behavioral health. A committed UCLA alumna, she is the past President of the UCLA Alumni Chicago Area Network and brings strong experience in alumni relations, regional leadership, and building networks that support both students and graduates.
Eliyah Cohen (he/him) – Co-Secretary
Eliyah Cohen is an Analyst at Deutsche Bank in their Community Development Finance Group (CDFG). Prior to DB, he completed the Coro New York Fellowship in Public Affairs, where he worked within organizations across government, labor, economic development, venture capital, and management consulting. Eliyah held several leadership roles during his time at UCLA, including as a member of the ASUCLA Board of Directors, where he led a referendum effort to invest in student community spaces. Driven by a passion for social entrepreneurship and hospitality, Eliyah is committed to leveraging his skills to drive innovation in business, create meaningful social impact, and support the Bruin community.
Wudia Kamara (she/her) – Co-Secretary
Wudia Kamara is a Forensic Advisory Associate at KPMG, where she applies her expertise in risk management, compliance, and investigative analysis. A proud UCLA alumna, she previously served as Chair of the ASUCLA Board of Directors, Resident Assistant; among many other student leadership roles, bringing deep knowledge of student leadership and governance to her professional career.
Bill Baroni (he/him) – Member-At-Large
Bill Baroni is an attorney, law professor, and former New Jersey legislator with extensive experience in law, policy, and education. He served in both the State Assembly and Senate, where he played a key role in advancing legislation on marriage equality. Later, as Deputy Executive Director of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, he oversaw major transportation assets and the rebuilding of the World Trade Center site.
Norma E. Fernandez (she/her) – Member-At-Large
Norma Fernandez is the Chief Executive Officer of Everyone On, a national nonprofit advancing digital equity and expanding broadband access in underserved communities. A UCLA alumna, she has dedicated her career to closing opportunity gaps and fostering community empowerment through technology and education.
Steven Moran (he/him) – Member-At-Large
Steven Moran is a Hardware Engineer at Apple, specializing in the development and optimization of advanced consumer technologies. A UCLA alumnus, he contributed to campus life as a member of the ASUCLA Board of Directors and served as a Teaching Assistant, demonstrating his commitment to mentorship and innovation.
Bijal V. Vakil (he/him) – Member-At-Large
Bijal Vakil is an Intellectual Property Trial Lawyer at SkaddenTech and an active leader in technology and innovation law. A UCLA alumnus, he also contributes to the UCLA VC Fund, helping expand opportunities for student and alumni entrepreneurs while supporting innovation across industries.
