ASUCLA Opens New Café at the Anderson School of Management, featuring the Only Starbucks on UCLA Campus

Westwood, CA – Oct. 18, 2019 – Just in time for Pumpkin Spice Latte season, the Anderson Café has opened its doors and with it comes the first on-campus location offering Starbucks coffee at UCLA.

The new café, which officially opened earlier this fall, is located in the Anderson School of Management and is the newest ASUCLA restaurant on campus. In addition to serving up Starbucks favorites such as the PSL, Pink Drink, Iced Caramel Macchiato, and Flat White, Anderson Café also serves new, unique lunch options. The café offers Bruin Bowls – Mediterranean-inspired dishes that can be made with grains, salad, or both, as well as chicken or salmon for additional protein – and custom, made-to-order sandwiches that include turkey pesto, turkey avocado, and salmon salad. And with seating both inside and in the exterior courtyard, there is ample space for patrons to take a moment and comfortably enjoy their drink or meal.

“We are so proud to have partnered with the Anderson School of Management to bring a new ASUCLA dining space for students, faculty, and staff to come together,” said David Transano, Manager of Anderson Café. “Coffee is always in high-demand on college campuses, and we are thrilled to provide Starbucks’ signature beverages to our community.”

Anderson Café is the latest new dining option brought to campus by ASUCLA, joining other recent additions such as Blaze Pizza, which opened April 2018. The café is also available for catering, meetings, classes, and events.
