Los Angeles, Calif., Sept. 18, 2023 – Aiming to enrich the diversity of meal choices on campus, Greenhouse salad bar and hot food station is making a return to Ackerman Union. Greenhouse, an Associated Students UCLA Restaurant, opened on Sept.18; the concept behind Greenhouse is to provide the campus community with further healthier food choices curated by ASUCLA Restaurants chefs.

The 40-foot Greenhouse semi-circle features four stations. The build-your-own salad bar includes a variety of greens with classic salad fixings. The cold bar consists of prepared items like pasta salads, freshly cut fruit and grain salads. At the soup station there are several featured soups all made from fresh ingredients in-house. And last but not least, the hot bar has comfort foods of mac and cheese, chicken, and pasta, along with a selection of themed items ranging from Thai to Mediterranean dishes that will rotate weekly.

Among the crisp salad and hot-made meals at Greenhouse, Bruins can also choose from an assortment of grab-and-go items and beverages, including a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine.
