All Bruins are invited to attend the Q&A with TikToker and internet personality Devin Halbal on Feb. 24 at 7 p.m., hosted by UCLA CEC and ASUCLA in the Charles E. Young Grand Salon.

Los Angeles, Calif., Feb. 23, 2023 – Up-and-coming TikTok content creator Devin Halbal is making an appearance at UCLA on Feb. 24 to share her experiences as an internet personality and insight to her activism writing endeavors.

 UCLA Campus Events Commission (CEC), in partnership with the ASUCLA Student Union, a division of Associated Students UCLA (ASUCLA), is hosting a Q&A with Halbal in Kerckhoff Hall, Charles E. Young Grand Salon for the UCLA community to get to know and learn more the social media star. Doors will open for the discussion at 7 p.m. 

 “You may know the 24-year-old social media icon for her off-the-cuff phrases — (like) Met Gala behavior — from spreading positivity through daily mantras on TikTok or her travel vlogs,” stated a representative from Halbal’s team. “Devin Halbal, also known as Hal Baddie, was recently named ‘Tiktok’s Muse of the Moment’ by W Magazine. She is an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, underrepresented voices and mental health.”

 With over 647,000 followers on her TikTok account @hal.baddie, Halbal is a lifestyle and travel vlogger who shares glimpses into her daily life while sharing inspirational daily affirmations. Above all, the digital creator additionally leverages her platform to bring attention to current-day issues through her writing as a way to begin conversations for societal change on topics such as transgender rights.
