UCLA block party
The UCLA Block party is an annual event in Westwood Village near the UCLA campus featuring student performances, games, local and campus vendors and more. Events last year included human foosball, photo opportunities and a Ferris wheel, as well as giveaways from sponsors such as Coca Cola, IKEA and ASUCLA. Click the link below for more information.
The UCLA block party held in September is part of True Bruin Welcome, a series of events at the beginning of the school year to welcome new and returning students. In addition to the UCLA block party, other events include Champed Up, the Enormous Activities Fair, the Chancellor’s Welcome and Bruin Bash. The UCLA block party and True Bruin Welcome are part of UCLA First Year Experience (FYE), which aims to support first-year Bruins in transitioning to college life while also encompassing other initiatives such as Living Learning Communities (LLCs), the Common Experience and academic support on the Hill.
