UCLA dorm
The UCLA dorm area, also referred to as the Hill, is residential on-campus living for undergraduate students and faculty. There are several clusters of buildings, all next door to each other, that make up the Hill: De Neve, Sproul, Rieber, Hedrick, Saxon, Hitch, Olympic/Centennial and Sunset Village. To learn more about UCLA dorms, click the button below.
Undergraduate students can access housing applications and offers through the UCLA Housing Portal. Housing payments are made through students’ BruinBill accounts. For more information about accessing housing, making payments and other services, click the link below.
There are four types of dorms students can choose: classic, plaza, deluxe and suite. Each UCLA dorm building adopts one of these four styles. A room in one of the four classic residence halls — Dykstra, Sproul, Rieber and Hedrick — is the most basic dorm experience, with communal bathrooms and study lounges and no air conditioning (AC). For more information about classic dorms, click the link below.
The deluxe UCLA dorm buildings are Sproul Cove, Sproul Landing, Holly, Gardenia, Olympic and Centennial. Deluxe dorms are almost identical to classic dorms but have different amenities, such as AC. For more information about deluxe dorms at UCLA, click the link below.
Plaza residences provide more privacy and space than the classic or deluxe style dorms, with AC and a private or suite-style shared bathroom. Plaza buildings include Rieber Terrace, Rieber Vista, Hedrick Summit, De Neve and Sunset Village. Click the link below for more information about plaza dorms.
The two suite buildings, Hitch and Saxon, are complexes of smaller buildings with outside entrances to each unit. Each room has a shared bathroom and living room. However, there is no AC. For more information about suite dorms at UCLA, click the link below.
