Going into the 2026 season, the UCLA Football coaches are led by UCLA Football head coach Bob Chesney, who was hired in December 2025 from James Madison, where he led the team to a 12-1 record and Sunbelt Conference Championship. Chesney is the 20th UCLA Football head coach in the program’s history. In January 2026, Chesney announced the hiring of 10 assistant UCLA Football coaches and two coordinators.
