UCLA schedule of classes

The UCLA schedule of classes can be found on the UCLA Registrar’s Office via the Registration & Classes tab. The UCLA schedule of classes allows students to search for courses available, depending on the term and search criterion. Bruins can search for general education (GE), online classes, civic engagement availability and much more. To search for classes at UCLA, click the button below.

As a student, there are multiple ways to see the UCLA schedule of classes online. Students can see real-time, updated class information, such as enrollment counts, through MyUCLA under Find a Class and Enroll or Class Planner. Students will also be able to enroll into the classes they plan on taking in the Study List

However, if a student is just looking for particular course information to plan ahead, the UCLA schedule of classes via the UCLA Registrar’s Office can be very beneficial. To search for a particular course, select the term in the academic year and the specific search criteria through the provided menu. The search criteria are categorized by subject area, class units, class ID, instructor, GE classes, writing II classes, diversity classes, college honors classes, fiat lux classes, community-engaged learning classes, collegium of university teaching fellows (CUTF) seminars, undergraduate student initiated education (USIE) seminars and online classes, not recorded, recorded and asynchronous.

After selecting the specific search criteria and quarter term, a list of available courses will be provided, given the according information. For instance, if a student was looking for an upcoming course in Aerospace Studies, the student may select the term spring 2024, select the subject area and fill in Aerospace Studies (AERO ST) to see the available courses in that subject for spring quarter.

The UCLA schedule of classes webpage also lists special programs, including civic engagement opportunities, intercampus courses and UC cross campus online courses. If students are looking for master course lists, there are also writing II, GE, impacted and diversity courses, as well as course descriptions.

The UCLA Registrar’s Office also provides easy access to MyUCLA, Find a Class and Enroll, Class Planner and a link to view Enrollment Appointments available for students. The registrar’s office has additional information under the Registration & Classes page for students to learn about the two registration processes: payment of fees and enrollment of classes. The registration, steps for enrollment, policies for admissions, the study list, appointments, examinations and graduation information are found in detail on this page.
