UCLA Women’s Basketball
The UCLA Women's Basketball team were the NCAA Division I national champions for the 2026 season, the first championship win in program history. They were the No. 1 ranked team in the NCAA for 2025-2026. After finishing the regular season with a 73-50 win over USC, they also won the Big Ten tournament opener against No. 8 seed Washington. The UCLA Women's Basketball team recently won several awards at the Big Ten postseason conference awards ceremony. Senior center Lauren Betts won Defensive Player of the Year and Big Ten Player of the Year. Graduate student Angela Dugalić won Big Ten Sixth Player of the Year and Michael Price Family UCLA Women's Head Basketball Coach Cori Close earned the Coach of the Year award.
