UCLA students — design the next ASUCLA T-shirt in annual contest

UCLA students have until Oct. 31 to submit artwork to the 13th annual ASUCLA T-shirt Design Contest for a chance to feature their work on a T-shirt and win a $1,000 UCLA Store gift card.

Los Angeles, Calif., Oct. 13, 2025 – It’s time again for UCLA students to submit their artwork for the 13th annual ASUCLA T-shirt Design Contest. The winning design will be custom printed on a T-shirt and made available to the Bruin community, in addition to a $1,000 UCLA Store gift card awarded to the student designer.

2025 ASUCLA T-shirt Design Winner Scott Park

In the program history, the ASUCLA T-shirt Design Contest has introduced 11 iconic student-made designs inspired by UCLA, as well as a face mask in 2020. Last year’s winning design depicted UCLA’s favorite icon: Bruin bears blowing bubbles, created by then-fourth-year computer science student Scott Park.

“This annual contest has become a tradition for Bruins to leave their mark on campus,” said Peter Poon, UCLA Store director. “We encourage all UCLA students to enter the ASUCLA T-shirt Design Contest to showcase their creativity and school spirit.”

Students interested in participating in the 13th annual ASUCLA T-shirt Design Contest have until Oct. 31 to submit their designs through this link. The campus community will then be able to enjoy all student-made artwork in a showcase in early November, with voting set to go live in December. The winning design will be announced in January 2026.
