UCLA new student orientation is an event held during the summertime for newly admitted students to help them prepare for their first quarter at UCLA.

UCLA new student orientation sessions offer new students an opportunity to learn about UCLA, student services and academic planning in the summer before the fall quarter begins. UCLA orientations are offered for first-year students, transfer students and international students, as well as parents and families, by the New Student and Transition Programs (NSTP) department at UCLA.
