During their stay at UCLA in 2028, Olympic athletes will eat, sleep and train on UCLA’s campus. Additionally, the Rose Bowl, the UCLA Football team’s home stadium in Pasadena, CA, will serve as one of many venues for Olympic events and host Olympic soccer games. UCLA-affiliated athletes have been part of the long history of the Olympics. Recently, in 2024, 49 Bruins traveled to Paris to participate in the Summer Olympic Games — 40 as athletes and nine coaches — winning a total of 14 medals, according to UCLA Athletics.
