Restaurants near UCLA offer a variety of choices, with many located nearby at the Westwood Village and right on the UCLA campus.

Central Campus

Plateia

Located in Meyer and Renee Luskin Conference Center, the Plateia offers Mediterranean-inspired cuisine made with fresh ingredients from California. One of many restaurants near UCLA, guests may choose to sit indoors among the stained glass windows or outdoors on the patio underneath olive trees.

Epicuria at Ackerman Student Union

Keeping with the Mediterranean theme of Plateia but introducing a more casual atmosphere, the new Epicuria at Ackerman serves favorite recipes from the Epicuria dining hall. 

Kerckhoff Hall Coffee House

If you would like a quick coffee and pastry or a hearty bowl of soup and bread, stop by Kerckhoff Hall Coffee House. It features a beautiful indoor seating area with stained glass windows and a bustling atmosphere as well as an outdoor courtyard where students can study and enjoy their coffee.

Rubio’s Coastal Grill

Fish tacos and other Mexican seafood dishes are the specialty of this restaurant located on level one of Ackerman Student Union. 

Jamba by Blendid

The new Jamba by Blendid kiosk serves smoothies with a twist: there are no humans blending drinks. All of the smoothies are made by a robotic food technology by Blendid, which is capable of making nine smoothies simultaneously. Just order through the Blendid app or at the kiosk on level one of Ackerman Student Union and watch the robot go!

Other food and dining options at Ackerman Student Union

Ackerman Student Union features several well-known chains for those looking to grab a bite on the go, or take a break in the Student Union: Panda Express and Wetzel’s Pretzels on Level 1, and Taco Bell and Carl’s Jr. on A-Level. For those who are vegetarian and vegan, try Veggie Grill, located right next to Rubios for plant-based meals. 

South Campus

Blaze Pizza

Blaze Pizza is a popular restaurant in the Court of Sciences Student Center, and it serves made-from-scratch pizzas with your choice of toppings. It’s gluten free and vegan/vegetarian friendly, making its food accessible and delicious.

Cafe Synapse

Away from the bustle of the Court of Sciences Student Center, Cafe Synapse serves Peet’s Coffee, all-day breakfast, specialty paninis and gourmet salads at the Gonda Center. Its logo and decor are inspired by a diagram of a synapse.

Other South Campus options 

Subway and Yoshinoya are two familiar chains available in the Court of Sciences Student Center. You can also stop for a quick coffee and pastry from the Southern Lights Cafe, located right outside the main Court of Sciences building.

North Campus

Anderson Cafe

Drop by for a quick sandwich and Starbucks coffee from Anderson Cafe. If you’d like to sit down to enjoy your coffee and sandwich, seating is available indoors and around the outdoor courtyard of Anderson School of Management.

LuValle Commons

LuValle Commons houses several places to eat. Jimmy’s Coffee House serves Intelligentsia coffee, pastries and light lunch items. If you would like a more filling meal, you can have a burrito from Epazote Mexican Grill, burgers from Burger Assembly, or ramen from Fusion.
