UCLA parking

A guide to make parking at UCLA a walk in the park.

UCLA parking requires a valid permit. Those visiting for a few hours can purchase a daily parking permit; students, staff and faculty need to purchase a quarterly permit for their vehicles. To determine the closest UCLA parking lot to you, see the map of all parking lots across the UCLA campus through the button below.

Guest permits

If you’re visiting the UCLA campus for a day and park in a UCLA parking garage, make sure to pay for a permit at a self-service pay station or pay through a phone using ParkMobile. Parking rates vary according to how long you plan to stay, which parking lot you park in and when you visit. Rates are listed on the pay station or on the app.

To view the rates for each parking structure and more detailed instructions on how to pay, visit the UCLA Visitor Parking information page through the link below.

Student Quarterly Parking

For UCLA students who commute to campus by car, apply for a student parking permit through the Bruin ePermit Portal every quarter. Applications are based on priority, not first-come-first-serve.

Quarterly UCLA parking rates vary based on the type of parking the student is applying for. Students must submit carpool requests in order to qualify for carpool parking permits. To access the application, payment dates and more information on student permits, click the button below.

Faculty and Staff Parking

Permits to park at UCLA are required for all staff and faculty who work on campus. Pricing for faculty and staff permits vary depending on the permit period and type. A table listing the various rates is available under the “Faculty and Staff” tab of the UCLA Parking Rates and Fees website.
