UCLA student government
There are two UCLA student governments and a number of other student government organizations representing different groups of students at UCLA. UCLA’s student governments are the Undergraduate Students Association Council (USAC) and the Graduate Students Association (GSA). USAC and GSA are two of the four pillars of Associated Students UCLA, the others being Student Media and Student-Run Enterprises. USAC is the governing body of the Undergraduate Students Association, of which membership comprises all undergraduate students at UCLA. USAC’s role as a UCLA student government within the UCLA community includes advocating for student interests, allocating student fees, organizing events and appointing students to various campus committees, according to the Daily Bruin.
