UCLA Basketball recruiting

Prospective student-athletes (PSAs) interested in UCLA Basketball recruiting can contact coaches, visit the UCLA campus unofficially and fill out questionnaires as an interested potential recruit. UCLA Recruiting

Before beginning the recruiting process, the UCLA Athletics notes that it is important to determine whether or not PSAs are eligible to participate as a Bruin athlete, whether on the UCLA Women’s Basketball team or the UCLA Men’s Basketball team. It is also important to note that the correspondence between UCLA coaches for all sports and athletes only begins when the PSA is a junior (after September 1) or a senior in high school, notes the UCLA Recruiting webpage, as per NCAA guidelines.

The UCLA recruiting webpage also notes that it is important to submit a recruiting questionnaire that includes an online biography for the UCLA coaching staff. PSAs interested in UCLA Basketball recruiting can also schedule an unofficial visit at the prospective athlete’s expense, though the UCLA Recruiting webpage notes that it is important also to contact the coach when making an unofficial visit.
